as we all know, the instructions suck, so here are two helpful tips for routing the vac line from the throtle body (dont cap it!) and a good spot to mount your vsv switch now that it doesnt have a home! (must be plugged in to harness)

Let’s get to the point. Everything is good until you get to step 7. The connectors to the shift cables on the 02/03′ are different and require manhandling to a degree….but Beware if you break the housing plastic or springs you are in for added work.

Install TRD CAI

The TRD CAI may look complicated if you read the instruction. Once you see someone install it, it’s easier than you think. It takes about 40 minutes to one hour to install.

According to below here’s what 1ZZ-FE means
1 – First generation
Z – Engine series code name
Z – Previously used, and rebranded engine model (from where?)
F – Narrow valve angle, economy oriented engine (as oppose to G for wide valve, performance oriented engine)
E – Electronic fuel injection
